Differing Wording of Debt Headlines

Trib Live. Student loan forgiveness plan in Pennsylvania wipes out $45.1M in debt for 5,600 borrowers.

Breitbart. Biden Transferring Student Debt from 153,000 Borrowers, Notifies Them in Emails.

Notice the difference between these two headlines about Biden’s unconstitutional plan. My local newspaper claims Biden wants to “wipe out” debt. That is similar to other news outlets saying he wants to “cancel” debt. But debt always exists until it is repaid. It can never be wiped out or canceled. If it is not repaid by the borrower, then it is repaid by someone else. The Breitbart headline gets it correct. The debt is being transferred from those who borrowed the money (the students), to those of us who did not take out the loans (taxpayers).

Breitbart on Trump Fraud Case

Three good articles from Breitbart showing the ridiculousness of this case. Jonathan Turley’s comment in the first article on the ruling is spot on, “confiscatory, extreme, and abusive.”

Judge Arthur Engoron Fines Trump $354M, Bars Him from Running Businesses in NY for 3 Years.

Letitia James: ‘Everyone Must Play by the Same Rules’; No Precedent for Trump Case.

Dershowitz: Letitia James ‘Ought to Be Brought up Before the Bar’.

American Still Suffering Under Bidenomics

(all from Fox Business)

Retail sales tumble much more than expected in January.

My take: Americans have depleted their savings and maxed out their credit cards due to Bidenflation.

Wholesale inflation accelerates more than expected in January.

Inflation struggles pushing blue-collar workers to vote red in November.

Tax refunds are much smaller so far this year, IRS says.

Surging auto insurance costs are fueling higher inflation.

Mortgage rates climb again as high housing costs persist.

Housing crisis forces Americans to shack up with former partners.

Americans staying put: Percentage that moved in 2023 hit a record low.

Prayer app Hallow takes top spot on Apple App Store.

My take: Note the second most requested prayer—Prayer for financial help.” I guess one good result of Bidenomics is Americans are praying again.

Bidenomics Still Not Working

Fox Business. Inflation rises faster than expected in January as high prices persist.

Fox Business. Fed rate cuts 'off the menu for now' after hot January inflation report.

Of course, inflation continues unabated. That is because the monies from Biden’s $4.8 trillion spending spree are still being spent. Unless or until those disastrous spending laws are repealed, inflation will continue due to the ongoing influx of Monopoly money into the economy. That will in turn force The Fed to keep interest rates elevated. And Americans will continue to suffer under Bidenomics.

Famous Last Words of a Presidency

“I am not a crook!” (Richard M. Nixon, 1974)

“My memory is fine!” (Joseph R. Biden, 2024).

It took several months, but after Tricky Dick spoke those words, he was forced out of office. The same will happen to Dementia Joe. There is no way he will still be in office come January 20, 2025, let alone January 20, 2029. His disastrous press conference last week was the beginning of the end of his presidency.

Dementia Joe Has Gotta Go

Newsmax. Biden Lashes Out Over Criticism of Failing Memory.

Daily Wire. Democrats Panic After Biden’s Disastrous Press Conference: ‘Worse Than An Indictment’.

Newsmax. Special Counsel: Biden 'Willfully' Disclosed Classified Docs, but Criminal Charges Unwarranted.

Washington Examiner. Biden’s physical takes on renewed importance after Hur revelations.

Anyone who has dealt with an elderly cognitively struggling loved one knows that the anger, cursing, and denial Biden expressed in his speech Thursday evening (2/8/24) is how such people always react when someone points out their cognitive struggles. It’s sad when it is a loved one, and Joe would be worthy of our sympathies, if he were just another elderly person with cognitive struggles.

But as it is, the 25th Amendment needs to be invoked to remove this hot-tempered, potty-mouthed, lying, buck-passing, incompetent, corrupt, criminal, blithering old fool from office before he stumbles us into yet another war. Or his ineptitude as Commander-in-Chief gets more of our brave soldiers killed. Or his open borders policy lets the equivalent of another new state or two worth of illegals into our country. Or his mishandling of the economy causes Americans to drain even more of their savings or to rack up even more credit card debt at ultra-high interest rates. Or his hateful rhetoric will further divide the nation. And don’t forget his support for the killing of unborn babies, the sexual mutilation of children, and the destruction of women’s sports and privacy.

This “elderly man with a poor memory” has to go. Until then, may the LORD help us.

I've been chronicling all these issues with Biden since day one of his presidency (see Biden’s Failing Presidency).

Biden Blames Trump

Breitbart. Joe Biden Blames Donald Trump and ‘MAGA Republicans’ for Broken Border System.

This is why I recorded in detail all of Biden’s executive orders when he first took office in the first volume of my series on Biden’s failing presidency. I knew he would later deny he did what he did. But the fact remains, he caused this border crisis by reversing all of Trump’s successful border policies, among many other of Trump’s policies. That is why the  phrase “Reversing Trump ” is in the subtitle of the book: Joe Biden Tweets During the First Year of His Failing Presidency: Reversing Trump, while Dividing and Destroying America

None of the Above Over Nikki

Breitbart. Nikki Haley Loses to ‘None of These Candidates’ in Nevada Primary.

“’None of these candidates’ took 62.9 percent of the vote, while Haley came in at 30.8 percent.”

How embarrassing! But Nikki still won’t drop out.

Credit Card Debt Surges Under Biden

Breitbart. Credit Card and Auto Loan Delinquencies Surge on Back of Bidenflation.

Overall credit card balances rose by $50 billion to $1.13 trillion in the fourth quarter. Auto loan balances climbed by $12 billion to $1.61 trillion.

While higher prices pushed up loan balances, higher interest rates have made those balances more costly for borrowers. Inflation, in other words, has been a one-two punch to U.S. consumers, hitting them first on prices of goods and second on the cost of debt that financed the purchases.

I recorded these trends in my books on Biden’s failing presidency through the first two years of his presidency. Sadly, they continued through his third and now into his fourth year in office. But Biden will still proclaim that Bidenomics is working. But those struggling to pay off high credit card debt with their high interest rates know better.

Border Deal

The new border deal allows 5,000 illegals a day to enter our country. That is 150,000 a month, 1.8 million a year. That will be 9 million illegals if Biden win election by the time he finally leaves office, on top of the 8-10 million he has already let it. That is the equivalent of adding 2-3 new states to the Union. Some deal.

A Healthy and Booming Economy?

NYT. Why Are Americans Wary While the Economy Is Healthy? Look at Nevada (via Yahoo! News).

Washington Post. The U.S. economy is booming. So why are tech companies laying off workers? (via Yahoo! News)

This will be the media’s talking point until the election—the economy is “healthy” or “booming” under Biden. However, the NYT slips in the following bit of honesty in its article.

While prices for many goods have stopped rising, they remain higher than before the pandemic, especially for critical things like gasoline, groceries and rent.

Higher interest rates — the result of the Federal Reserve’s credit tightening to choke off inflation — have increased credit card burdens for those carrying balances. They have multiplied mortgage payments for homeowners whose interest payments float with broader rates.

A FNC banner on 2/4/24 quantified those higher prices as, “Overall inflation is up 17.6% since Biden took office.” And I heard on my local radio news station KDKA today (2/5/24) that mortgage rates once again just went over 7%.

Both of those are due to Biden’s spending spree, some $4.8 trillion in his first two years in office, until the GOP took control of the House and stopped that nonsense. If it were not for that spending spree, we would have seen the good points of today’s economy (low unemployment, a rising stock market, and a growing GDP) but without inflation and high  interest rates two years ago when the pandemic ended.

I document all of this in my books on Biden’s failing presidency.

Front Page Magazine. Biden Brags of “Blowout” in South Carolina With 4% Turnout.

When I heard on the news Biden getting 96% of the vote, I knew there had to be something fishy. Most news outlets did not report this little tidbit.
